A sista from the Cricut message board shared this project & I just had to try it! It is a desk calendar for 2011 and will make a great gift for anyone. I kept mine pretty simple & used my favorite color so I can display it on my desk at work.       Just stopping by to wish everyone a very merry CHRISTmas! ... And to share some of the gifts I made for family. Journals, water bottles, & notecards galore!

There are only 7 days until Christmas! Here are a few of the cards I have made so far this holiday season. I used my Cricut & Beyond Birthdays cartridge for the sentiments.

So, I really enjoyed altering the journal that I will be using to track my goals for 2011. I took that idea to make some cute journals for my co-workers. I took a picture of a few of them. I used my YourStory to change the journals from coil to bound books & added each person's name to the cover. They were a big hit at the team Christmas party today!

I was reminded recently that we are often frustrated with where we are because we forget where we were. So I want to take a minute to thank God that I am not where I used to be & that even though I am not where I want to end up, I am closer to that place/thing/role/etc. than I was before! Think about what you had been complaining about or what has been frustrating to you? Now, what are you (should you be) thankful for?
