Welcome to the Craftin' Sistahs first ever blog hop! We are a group of Facebook friends who share the same passion for papercraftin'. The hop starts with the Mix On The Memories blog and ends with A Scrap Above. Along the way you'll stop by 7 other great blogs for a total of 9! You will find creations of all kinds along the hop. Be sure to start at the first blog and follow your way all the way through...several of the divas are offering blog candy! You never know where you might find some so be careful not to miss any of the blogs. While you're there, leave some blog love! Creative people love feedback on their work! We hope you enjoy this first Craftin' Sistahs blog hop! Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I created this card. The front says "if I put a cherry on top..." and the inside reads "will u be my valentine". I used my Cricut Expression to cut the wording & die cuts - using Printing Press, Gypsy Wanderings, ...

Happy February: Birthday Star Card

Image
This card is fairly simple & I love the way the colors flow together. I think I will give this one to my birthday buddy at work. I used the ColorBok stack from Walmart again for this one & my Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page punch to add a little something more to this simple card! And the Happy Birthday with the Star is cut from the Calligraphy Collection cartridge. Two down... many more to go! Stay tuned!

I created assorted thank you cards for my co-workers who helped me with training our new volunteers.

Last Saturday, he graduated from Kindergarten and I decided that I couldn't attend the event empty handed. I used my Cricut Design Studio software to create his name & the "2010" for the card. I used images & fonts from Everyday Paper Dolls & the Calligraphy Collection for this & I decided to use a graduate for the "A" in his name to make it that much cuter! The second project is a Summer Journal for my daughter. I used Design Studio again to lay out my design. I used Everyday Paper Dolls, Forever Young, & A Child's Year. I was also able to use my YourStory to bind the book & I am now officially hooked on creating books!! I will continue to work on completing my challenge - I believe it is 4 down & 40 to go LOL! I'll be keeping this updated in my "Personal Challeng...
