My First Blog Award!

Sarah over at Simply Sarah has blessed me with my first ever blog award - Stylish Blogger Award. If you haven't had a chance to see what Sarah is up to over there, you are missing out! Stop by & tell her I sent you. I am so thankful to her for this - and it is such a great way to end an awesome weekend!

This is a pay-it-forward style award. Here are the rules:

1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you this
2. Share 8 things about yourself
3. Pay it forward to 8 bloggers that you have recently discovered
4. Contact those bloggers and tell them about their awards.

So here are 8 things about myself:
1. I have one daughter & she is the light of my life.
2. I could eat potatoes with every meal - I don't, but oh how I would love too.
3. I had a blast this summer as a demonstrator for ProvoCraft.
4. My favorite color is orange - it actually makes me happy when I see it!
5. The only real collection I have is decks of playing cards (if you see any unique cards, I am probably interested in adding them to my collection ;) ).
6. I have only ever completed one scrapbook layout.
7. In addition to card making, I also make jewelry and crochet.
8. I participated in my first blog hop this weekend.
Here are the 8 bloggers I would like to share this award with (and it was so very hard to choose only eight):

1. PKay
2. Cammi
3. Croppin' Cassie
4. Riley's Custom Creations
5. Dee
6. WrinkleFreeDiva
7. ScrappyRN
8. Helen

Check these ladies out & be sure to leave a little bit of love!

Thanks again Sarah!

  4. It's true. I fell in love with scrapbooking - or what I thought it was LOL - when I was pregnant in 2003. I had an album & some paper & stencils & stickers & pens and started putting pictures in place and having my ideas of what I wanted the book to become... then my daughter was born & it fell by the wayside. I finished and 8.5x11 2-page spread when she was 4yrs old (I think I posted it on my blog somewhere), but it doesn't even fit in the original album. I also started another smaller album when I got my baby bug - cut out all the shapes I wanted, picked the pictures... and that's it. I have made millions of cards (because they have deadlines) but can't sit down & finish a page, let alone and album. (I also have three other albums in progress with pictures, papers, and embellishments all picked out & grouped together in those Iris drawer/totes LOL!)
